Quality

Measured against your drawing, every job

Inspection is part of how we run the shop, not a step added at the end. Here is what you can expect on every order.

Our process

How we make sure parts are right

First-article inspection

The first part of every new job is measured against your drawing before the rest of the run is cut. Results are recorded and kept with the job.

AWS certified welders

Our welders hold American Welding Society certification for the processes they weld, in steel and aluminum.

Material traceability

Mill certifications are supplied with your parts when the job calls for them. Tell us at the quote stage and material is bought and kept separate to suit.

Revision control

Programs are stored by part number and revision, so a reorder runs exactly what produced the approved parts.

File checks before cutting

Cut length and geometry are measured straight from your file. Left and right-hand pairs are checked against each other, and anything that does not add up gets a phone call before metal is cut.

Checked at the bench

Parts are checked with micrometers, calipers and the drawing on the bench, by the people who made them.

Certifications and requirements

Program-specific requirements

Every program is different. If yours calls for specific registrations, certifications or flow-down requirements, raise them with us before you qualify a supplier.

We will tell you plainly whether we meet the requirement today, can meet it with notice, or cannot meet it.
